October Chapter Gathering - Wednesday the 8th

  • Stony Hill Fire Department 59 Stony Hill Road Bethel, CT, 06801 United States (map)

For our October Chapter Gathering, CVTU Members will share there tips and tricks for fishing the Housatonic River. We all know the Housy is a great fishery for both Trout and Smallmouth Bass, but what are some of the favorite methods for pursuing these fish, and where are the best spots on the river.

Mike Fatse, Randy Walker and Mark McBeth will share some of their favorite methods and locations. We’ll encourage other members and attendees to share their secrets and collaborate on an open discussion on this excellent fishery.

Recent stocking activity by the State, along with excellent weather, has resulted in some pretty good Trout fishing. We’re on the back end of Smallie season, but their are still Bass to be caught with the right techniques.

We’ll start with pizza and beverages at 7:00pm followed by the 50/50 raffle, Chapter highlights, and then our open discussion.
