We hope that everyone is getting excited to see some Fall colors! Speaking of Fall, it’s a great time of the year to plant trees in support of Candlewood Valley Trout Unlimited’s mission; Protect, Enhance, Rehabilitate and Educate on clean, clear water.
On Saturday, October 7th, CVTU will be hosting a tree planting conservation gathering. We will be planting upwards of 30 trees to enhance a section along the Pootatuck River in Newtown.
We need your support to make this happen!
We will be meeting over at the Deep Brook kiosk, behind the “Park & Bark” dog park, off Old Farm Road in Newtown at 8:30am and work until 1pm (Any time you can give us is greatly appreciated!)
